The answer to this question is
The service restrictions applied to vehicle repairs & servicing were lifted in May 2004 by the Office of Fair Trading meaning that by law:
- Any repair carried out by a trained Technician
- Using tools & equipment suitable for the task
- Following the manufacturer's recommended repair procedures and schedule.
This means you are free to take your vehicle to any independent garage to have it serviced or repaired, providing these are carried out to the Manufactures guidlines. This will not affect your warranty
